ChampionX Chemical Technologies is seeking a Sr HR Business Partner based in Neuquen, Argentina.

In this role, you will provide day-to-day and strategic human resource generalist consultation to associates and managers on employee relations, HR policies and procedures, talent development, etc. The position will serve as a critical member of the Argentina HR team responsible to support the assigned functions and will partner closely with HR Business Partners to successfully implement and drive HR initiatives and practices.

What You Will Do:
• Serve as primary HR partner to Argentina operations; provide collaborative support with team and regional HR partners.
• Responsible for day-to-day administration of policies, processes, programs, and transactions covering the following:

o Full-cycle of recruitment and onboarding,

o Employee termination processes,

o Performance management and review,

o Talent assessment, training and development,

o Payroll and compensation,

o HR Administration and labor relations.
• Build effective relationships with union labour representatives to garantee a positive working environment
• Serve as a resource to managers and associates by providing policy, coaching and procedure interpretation.
• Ensure all HR-related processes are effectively executed within timeline. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for core HR service delivery.
• Create and recommend opportunities to enhance the culture and associate engagement, including efforts on diversity and inclusion; lead associate and leadership training and development efforts.
• Assist regularly in leadership meetings and to the broader population on policy, initiatives, and talent priorities
• Assist associates with inquiries, concerns & needs. Act as an impartial advocate for fair / equitable treatment.
• Support the review & development of HR policies and processes as necessary for the business; mitigate organizational risk by ensuring compliance with all employment laws
• Provide HR related data and reporting to HR Manager and leaders to promote data driven decision making and strategy development
• Participate actively in assigned multidisciplinary projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• +6 years of Human Resource experience including working with multinational public companies
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Availability for frequent travel within Argentina
• Immigration Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA or Master in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or other related area
• Oil & Gas Industry Experience
• Experience with Workday or similar HRIS
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Strong organizational, time and project management skills
• Highly collaborative and operates well in a team setting
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop action plans and implement solutions
• Strong interpersonal skills to make recommendations & decisions based on solid assumptions and existing policy; courage to coach at all levels of the organization
• Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills balanced with creativity.
